The seed for Lola's Butters & Balms was planted when I began making all-natural skin care products for myself and a few friends and family members who have sensitive skin. As a child, I struggled with eczema, and as an adult I developed a number of skin sensitivities that led me down a path of trying countless store brand lotions and creams. The additives and preservatives that I found in most skin care products no longer agreed with me, and my skin started to react: I've had rashes, blotchy patches, stinging, and once my eyes even swelled shut from severe inflammation. After a 4 year journey of trying to find a product that would nourish my skin, I decided to create my own line of natural, nutrient-rich, plant-based skin care products. With my background in chemistry and pharmaceutical compounding, this adventure feels like a natural fit. I have the knowledge and the skills to safely formulate my products and the passion to restore your skin.
